When Rali took Gabriella to her friend’s house, the family didn’t recognize her. They knew she had been quarantined and they don’t really understand. She lies and tells them she’s feeling better, but the attack has changed her in some ways. They believe her because she had brought Gabriella with her. Rali told them that Gabriella had gotten sick from what she had and her parents were leaving on a trip. Shelby (Rali’s friend) asks her own parents and they told her she could have them over until Rali’s parents got back home. Gabriella’s ‘predator’ instincts were coming in quicker than Rali’s had. Rali wasn’t in the room when Gabriella had waken, but Shelby and some of Rali’s other friends were. Gabriella drank their blood and was resting on the bed when Rali came back. Rali was shocked and knew that they had to get out of the town as fast as they could, so they went back home and gathered all of their belongings before leaving New York. They travelled to Southern Mexico and over to Australia before they were caught and hauled off to Volterra.

The Volturi took interest in both siblings. Rali’s power was unique and Gabriella’s more devastating. Aro offered them positions, Gabriella accepted and Rali kindly declined. She was more interested in finding a different way of life rather than following more rules, set by people. She also wanted to go back to her homeland and stay there for a few more years, so after Marcus, Caius and Aro explained the conditions of being a vampire they sent Rali on a plane to a small town, Forks.

When Rali returned on the plane, she met another vampire by the name of Marc. He was older and a more experienced vampire, he could tell that she was having trouble adjusting to certain things and so he asked her if she needed any help. Rali, being stubborn refused it and continued to think about her own thoughts. Marc being just as stubborn as Rali asked her where she was going. To be polite she answered “Forks. A small town.” He only grinned and she asked him what was wrong. He replied “That’s where I am headed.” They talked a bit more and found out they had more things in common than they thought. She caught a ride with him and they travelled to Forks together. She didn’t let her guard down and was still deciding whether he could be trusted or not. When they arrived at Forks, safe and sound, Rali was surprised, but didn’t let it show. She began to trust him more and more and soon they were enrolling in the High School, as brother and sister. A couple months after they started school, they both suddenly disappeared without any trace.

Rali is back in Forks, alone and quieter. No one knows exactly what has happened, except her, and it’s something she isn’t sharing anytime soon.
