It all started out with a small SKITS thread until it became so much more... we now have a place to hang out with friends around the world and talk about Twilight!

My all-time favorite book, for some reason, is Fahrenheit 451. I love to read about distopian futures because they aren't supposed to be sugar-coated like everything is these days, it seems (including Twilight...especially Twilight). I love how it took on the idea that technology does take over us and our minds become a sieve..which I see it happening already. Perhaps we really will end up to be Ray Bradbury's future he drew up, after all.

hm. I just read the third part of the Inheritance Cycle, Brisingr, and I'm excited. This is the best of the books. I dunno whether you know Eragon, or whether you have only seen the film. To those who have seen it: The books are way better. And to the others: READ IT!

Eragon is a fantasy series written by Christopher Paolini. He wrote the first book which is called Eragon, when he was 15. It's a little like Lord of the rings, with Elf and some kind of Orks and so on.

It's about the boy Eragon who finds a dragon egg in the forest. Together with this dragon called Saphira and a story teller called Brom he joins the fight against the king of his country, Galbatorix. Armed with magic, other mental powers, a nearly invincible sword and the support of a huge army of rebels, elves and dwarves he is the last free dragon rider.

It's a very thrilling, funny and sometimes surprising story with a lot of friendship, fight, betrayal, love... it has everything that a good story needs!

READ IT!

Unwind, by Neal Shusterman.

That writer is the ultimate shiz. I worship the ground he walks upon.
