Discuss the Gemma Doyla Trilogy. The first is A Great and Terrible Beauty, then Rebel Angels, and finally The Sweet Far Thing.

I decided to make a new thread because in The Mortal Instruments thread, it was being discussed a little. Well, here's a thread for that!

Grrrr....i was so annoyed with the ending...
GOD! I mean eaten by a tree!? Really?
i shouldnt give anything away in case there are people who dont like spoilers...but Jeeze!
I would have definately ended the trilogy differently!

It is about a girl who moves to Spence Academy For Young Ladies after a tradgedy in her family happens. *wink, wink, Twilight<3* She makes some new friends and also a "mysterious young man" and soon learns of her destiny and a secret sociaty known as the Order.

I really don't want to give anything away! But, it is a really good series!

Not quite, Twilight.

It does have some romance, (yes, I LOVE romance too) and it is very romantic in the middle onward in The Sweet Far Thing!

Ugh, Bloody Hell.

I fucking hated the ending. I mean, couldn't you think of an even SLIGHTLY better ending to the series? It doesn't even make any fucking sense. And Kartik was sooo damn sexy. He was totally tieing for first with Seth.
