In an attempt to shed a few extra pounds, which I have been assured by numerous people who have never laid eyes on me 'is not necesary', yesterday, I decided to go on a diet.

Well, not really, because this diet would consist of "Well, I don't eat anything, and when i feel like I'm about to faint, I eat a cube of cheese" (Devil Wears Prada).

Now, this went just dandy for the first six hours, until my mother annouced that we were going to Shop-Rite. Helpful hint, never go to the grocery store hungry.

The first time I slipped up was innocently gnawing on a peice of beef jerky. Don't be fooled-this is not real food, no matter what the package says. ._.

The second was by the bakery. You know, I think they have the doughnuts set up ON PURPOSE so you can see and smell their heavenly caloric sugar-laden selves, but cannot access them. Well, needless to say, I got meself a buttercreme doughnut. :>

Yum.

Third time: Chocolate milk. Now, there's nothing wrong with chocolate milk, it might even fit into the no-food diet considering that it is a liquid, but not on a day when all you've had is processed manufactured SHIT for nutrition.

My mother failed to mention that we were having fried chicken for dinner. Enough said.

Now, Ice cream is a beautiful thing; even more so when you don't have any. But upon the opening of my freezer, what did I see?

WHAT DID I SEE?

If you guessed Ice Cream, you are one smart ice cream. *cough* Cookie. I meant cookie, one smart cookie. So, I couldn't resist.

BUT

HOWEVER

NEVERTHELESS

I managed to stay strong and resist the bowl of Reeses' Peices which is now sitting in front of me. *coughhalfemptycough*

I am not fat, no, just hungry. o_O

Now that I think about it, the ironic thing is, if I hadn't been trying to diet (aka if I gave myself the mental allowance to simply eat when I felt like eating) I probably wouldn't have eaten half the shit I did yesterday.

Whereas, when my mental blockage was in full swing (and I was trying my hardest NOT to eat) it was like a fuckin' free-for-all. I could not stop stuffing my face.

Kind of like a toddler, you know? You tell them that they can't have something, then they go and color all over it or poop on it or hide it under their booster seat or something. Not that I do this with my food...

:EDIT: *sigh* You people are never on when you're supposed to be...

BTW, diet pepsi and Reeses' Peices do NOT (repeat) do NOT taste good together. taste good together.

Wow, it's cold in here.

I'm with the laptop in the kitchen surfing the internet when everyone else on TSBM is either asleep, doing some weird other time-zonely CRAP, or for some reason are just not on.

I am cold because my mother left the ceiling fan on.

Now, normally, if any moment in my life could ever be categorized as normal, I would just reach and a pull the chain to turn the fan down. Or better yet, off.

But oho, this is NOT normally. Because you see, there is an ugly gray spider sitting in the middle of the fan.

I can see his web just waving around in the breeze (and I must say, this must be the Paris Hilton) because what kind of a moron spider would build his web on a fan, you know? WTF?

But he happens to be gray and ugly and (including his gray and ugly body, his long gray and ugly legs, and ultimately his gray ugly SELF) and ugly and gray.

He is just sitting there and staring at me, the bastard. Now, I don't KNOW if he's staring at me, but what I'm assuming is his head is meaningfully pointed in my general direction, and I feel evil little eyes burning through my skin.

I mean, who the hell is this effer? Who does he think he is, just sitting there, all gray and ugly, and staring at me!

IN MY OWN KITCHEN!
